KAGYU BUDDHISM IRELAND

Kagyu Samye Dzong Dublin is a Tibetan Buddhist meditation centre dedicated to promoting world peace and health through the teachings of the Karma Kagyu tradition. Guided by Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche, Abbot of Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland, the centre is run by a team of committed volunteers together with resident nun Ani Yonten.

The centre offers a welcoming entry point for anyone curious about Buddhism, as well as a rich programme for those already on the path. Regular activities include meditation sessions such as Simply Meditation Sundays, Calm Abiding, and Meditation for Beginners, alongside traditional pujas like Green Tara and Chenrezig. Weekly Dharma talks, film nights, and Saturday Morning Dialogues provide insight into Buddhist perspectives on life, death and everyday living. In addition, the centre hosts international teachers and runs specialised courses - for example the Compassion-Based Living Course and the An Attitude of Gratitude weekend - often in partnership with organisations such as Tara Rokpa Therapy.

Based in Dublin, Kagyu Samye Dzong serves a vibrant community of practitioners and newcomers, offering a supportive environment for study, practice and the cultivation of compassion and mindfulness.
