The Christine Buckley Centre for Education and Support CLG is a charitable organisation dedicated to empowering survivors of institutional abuse in Ireland and their families. Drawing on the lived experience of those who endured childhood trauma in industrial schools, Magdalene laundries and mother-and-baby institutions, the centre offers a safe, dignified space where healing and learning can take place together.

Through a range of workshops and classes, the centre provides education and practical support tailored to adult survivors, helping them rebuild confidence and navigate the lasting effects of abuse. In addition to its core programmes, the centre welcomes volunteers - from survivors themselves to members of the wider community - to contribute ideas, teach new sessions or simply lend a hand, reinforcing a network of compassion and solidarity. By fostering warmth, respect and safety, the Christine Buckley Centre strives to turn trauma into resilience and hope for those it serves.
