Superlum Diodes Limited is a specialist supplier of high-performance superluminescent diodes (SLDs) and related photonic components. The company designs and manufactures a broad range of uncooled, pigtailed and multimode SLDs, as well as advanced semiconductor optical travelling-wave amplifier (TWA) modules. Its product portfolio also includes broadband light sources - marketed under the BroadLighters brand - covering wavelengths from 620 nm up to the newly introduced 910 nm and 930 nm lines, together with high-power MOPA SLD systems and swept-wavelength tunable lasers.

In addition to the light-emitting devices, Superlum provides complete driver and temperature-control solutions through its PILOT series, OEM driver assemblies and customised SLD-driver packages. Customers can also access specialised packages, bespoke configurations and legacy (discontinued) items, supported by detailed documentation such as "SLDs: An Overview" and "SLDs: Optical Feedback".
