Company Description
Wexford Sub-Aqua Club (W.S.A.C.) is a not-for-profit scuba-diving club that has been promoting underwater exploration in the sunny southeast of Ireland since 1971. Based in the picturesque fishing village of Kilmore Quay, Co. Wexford, the club offers a welcoming community for both seasoned divers and newcomers, providing membership, training courses and skill-development programmes that cater to a wide range of abilities.
The club's facilities include a boathouse overlooking the Saltee Islands, a 7.5 m RIB for boat-based trips, and on-site compressors capable of delivering air and nitrox fills. Members enjoy access to a diverse portfolio of dive sites - from easy shore dives around Hook Head to challenging wrecks such as the Girl Arlene, SS Lennox and SS Idaho, which lie at depths from 5 m to 45 m. In addition to wreck and reef diving, W.S.A.C. organises scenic dives that showcase the region's rich marine environment.
Committed to marine stewardship, the club actively participates in local clean-up initiatives and collaborates with organisations such as An Taisce and Wexford County Council. Through education, adventure and environmental responsibility, Wexford Sub-Aqua Club continues to be the hub for scuba enthusiasts throughout the southeast of Ireland.
