The Irish Timber Growers Association (ITGA) is the recognised national representative body for private woodland owners in Ireland. Founded in 1977, the association works to develop and expand the private forestry sector, promoting sustainable forest management and helping members maximise the environmental, economic and climate-change benefits of their plantations.

ITGA offers a suite of specialist services for its members, including the annual Forestry & Timber Yearbook, the Wood Price Quarterly (WPQ) market report, and a timber sales system that provides template tree-sale contracts. It also delivers practical guidance on forest fire prevention, storm-damage assessment and the use of satellite imaging, and runs a range of events, webinars and field days that enable growers to share experience and stay up-to-date with the latest forestry topics.

Based in Dublin, ITGA serves private forest owners throughout the Republic, acting as a voice to government bodies such as the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and collaborating with organisations like Coillte.
