Alliance Française de Limerick is the oldest French cultural centre in Ireland, founded in 1944 and becoming part of the worldwide Fondation Alliance Française in 1969. Based in the Limerick region, the organisation promotes the French language and francophone culture on a non-profit basis, offering a welcoming hub for learners of all ages.

The centre delivers a comprehensive programme of French courses for adults, teenagers and children, taught exclusively by native-speaking, qualified teachers. Classes are available in the morning, afternoon and evening, with small groups of up to twelve students to ensure personalised attention, as well as one-to-one lessons that fit individual timetables. In addition to language tuition, Alliance Française de Limerick runs specialised workshops, cultural events and an annual Open Day, providing learners with immersive experiences that extend beyond the classroom.
