NORTH WESTMEATH HOSPICE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

North Westmeath Hospice is a voluntary, charitable organisation founded in 1994 to deliver specialist palliative-care services to people across Westmeath. Operating under the national Together for Hospice network, the hospice exists primarily as a fundraising body that enables both in-patient and community hospice providers in the North Westmeath area to raise the resources they need to offer comfort, dignity and expert care to patients and their families during vulnerable times.

The hospice's work is driven by local branches in Mullingar and Delvin, as well as a network of individual supporters and community groups throughout the county. Funds raised are channelled to frontline hospice services, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality, specialist care while the hospice's unpaid directors oversee the trust's assets and liaise with the HSE via the Hospice Homecare Foundation Committee. Charity boxes placed around Mullingar and a dedicated online donation platform further support the mission of "to relieve often, but to comfort always."
