IRISH ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY TRAINING ORGANISATIONS COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Irish Association of Community Training Organisations (IACTO) is the employer-representative body for the 31 independent community boards that govern Community Training Centres (CTCs) across the island. By operating a shared-services model, IACTO delivers strategic human-resource and industrial-relations support to individual CTCs whenever the need arises, helping boards, staff and learners navigate employment matters efficiently and close to source.

IACTO's flexible, responsive services include the provision of essential documentation, advice on industrial-relations issues and liaison with voluntary boards, Solas, Education and Training Boards and trade-union officials. The organisation works with all levels of a CTC - from board members and management to frontline staff - to ensure that training, educational and employment-related services are delivered in a friendly, informal environment.

Through its dedicated support, IACTO strengthens the capacity of community-run training centres, enabling them to offer high-quality, modern programmes that meet the needs of young people and local communities.
