GOREY YOUTH NEEDS GROUP COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Gorey Youth Needs Group (GYNG) is a charitable organisation that has been supporting young people and their families in the Gorey area since 1995. By delivering professional, youth-focused services, GYNG works directly with individuals and collaborates with partner agencies to help participants address challenges, build confidence and make positive changes in their lives.

The group runs a range of specialist programmes, including the Little Daisies community-based child-care centre, the YOLOS (Youth Opportunities Local Outcomes Service) project which targets at-risk youth and families, and the GYTI (Gorey Youth Training Initiative) which offers Level 5 sport courses and Level 4 computer qualifications. A newer hub in Courtown expands these training and YOLOS services, providing additional local access for the community.

Funded primarily by the TUSLA Child & Family Agency and supplemented by government grants, donations and community-employment support, GYNG creates safe, respectful environments where young people feel valued and are encouraged to pursue their full potential.
