Crooked House Theatre Company Limited by Guarantee is a community-driven theatre-making organisation founded in 1993 in Newbridge, County Kildare. Its core mission is to create, produce and present theatre and film projects that are conceived *with, for and by* the people who take part. By offering free, open-access participation, Crooked House welcomes a diverse range of contributors - from young people aged 11 to 30, to individuals with intellectual disabilities, migrants and International Protection Applicants, women's groups and elderly residents of day-care centres.

The company's work is rooted in the values of tolerance, equality, social justice, compassion and empathy, and it strives to deliver productions that are ambitious, challenging, aesthetically engaging and resonant with audiences. Through its inclusive workshops, rehearsals and performances, Crooked House provides a creative platform that not only nurtures artistic talent but also strengthens community bonds across the region.
