Irish Baroque Company Limited By Guarantee, trading as the Irish Baroque Orchestra (IBO), is a national ensemble dedicated to reviving and sharing the early Baroque and Classical repertoire of Ireland. Under the artistic direction of Peter Whelan, the orchestra acts as an ambassador for the country's musical heritage, developing new knowledge of Ireland's formative musical era and presenting it to contemporary audiences.

The IBO offers a dynamic season of concerts, educational programmes and touring projects, most recently announced for a 2026 tour of the United States supported by a Culture Ireland award. Its performances have earned critical acclaim, with five-star reviews in The Times and The Arts Desk, and the ensemble regularly recognises the support of cultural leaders such as President Michael D. Higgins. Funding from Arts Council Ireland underpins its ambition to expand its impact and reach.
