Waterford Centre for Independent Living (CIL) is a community-driven organisation that empowers people with disabilities to live independently across Waterford city and county. Run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities, the centre draws on lived experience to deliver practical, person-centred support that truly makes a difference.

The core services include fully trained, Garda-vetted personal assistants who help with daily tasks such as dressing, personal care, meal preparation, shopping and household chores. In addition, Waterford CIL operates Vantastic, a wheelchair-accessible transport service with minibuses based in Dungarvan and Waterford city, offering reliable travel for shopping, medical appointments, social outings and more, all at a moderate fee.
