Rex Levitates Dance Company, formerly known as Liz Roche Company, is a Dublin-based contemporary dance organisation renowned for its finely wrought, beautifully crafted choreography. Over more than two decades the company has presented the work of choreographer Liz Roche in collaboration with leading dancers, visual artists, designers and musicians, creating immersive performances that blend movement, sound and film.

The company's recent repertoire showcases its commitment to innovative storytelling and cultural dialogue. Recent commissions include *Sentient* - a Beckett: Unbound festival piece created with saxophonist Nick Roth and ondes Martenot player Nathalie Forget, featuring the voice of actor Adrian Dunbar - and *Impasse*, an exploration of ethnicity, identity and the Black diaspora by associate artist Mufutau Yusuf. Earlier works such as *Yes and Yes*, which interprets episodes of Joyce's *Ulysses*, and *The Here Trio*, a body-centred investigation of belonging, demonstrate the company's skill in marrying literary and social themes with contemporary dance.
