Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Outreach Project (DROP) is a community-based organisation that has been supporting people affected by substance misuse since 1998. Operating across the county of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, DROP offers a non-judgemental, evidence-based suite of services designed to help individuals at any stage of their recovery journey.

Key programmes include the Medically Assisted Recovery Stabilisation (MARS) service, a Drug-Free Programme, and a range of group and individual rehabilitation sessions. DROP also provides after-care support, family assistance, and practical pathways to training, education and employment. All services are free of charge and are delivered with a focus on accessibility, quality and user-centred care.

By working closely with local partners and funders, DROP aims to empower clients to rebuild their lives within their own community, offering a compassionate ear and a clear route to lasting recovery.
