JADD (Jadd Project Company Limited By Guarantee) is a Dublin-based charitable organisation that was founded in 1996 in response to the growing heroin problem in the Jobstown community. Its core mission is to empower individuals struggling with drug dependency and to support their families, helping them move towards a drug-free lifestyle through a comprehensive suite of free, low-threshold services.

The charity delivers a wide range of specialised programmes, including family-support and pre-school services, community-employment initiatives, and harm-reduction interventions such as needle-exchange. In partnership with the HSE, JADD runs medical and methadone-maintenance programmes, residential placements with housing support and meals, a welcoming drop-in centre, and personalised rehabilitation and after-care support. Additional offerings comprise individual and group counselling, advocacy, and an accredited FETAC education pathway for further skills development.

JADD also relies on the generosity of donors and the commitment of volunteers to sustain its work. By providing these vital resources, the organisation plays a pivotal role in reducing drug-related harm and rebuilding stronger, healthier families across Dublin.
