Childminding Ireland is a not‑for‑profit, member‑run organisation that supports Ireland’s childminding sector. It offers free, expert advice to childminders at every stage of their business – from launching a new service to maintaining compliance and sustainability. Members receive a Business Starter Pack, access to discounted insurance, and a range of training courses, guidance materials and events designed to strengthen professional practice.

The association also acts as a collective voice for childminders, lobbying on regulatory changes, promoting the sector and highlighting emerging challenges such as the potential closure of up to 80 % of providers under new legislation.
