John McKenna Traditional Music Society is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to nurturing and celebrating Ireland's rich traditional music heritage. Through a vibrant programme of lessons, sessions, concerts, workshops and Ceili dances, the Society offers musicians of all ages the chance to develop their skills and connect with a supportive community of fellow enthusiasts.

The Society's flagship activities include the annual John McKenna Festival and the Session Trail, both scheduled for 2025, as well as a well-established online shop that supplies instruments and related merchandise. From early September, traditional music classes for children aged seven and upwards will resume, focusing on tin whistle and flute under the guidance of experienced tutors Caitríona Horan and Lillian Harris.
