Company Description
The Irish Universities Association (IUA) is the collective voice of Ireland's research-intensive, enterprise-engaged public universities. By advocating for its members, the IUA helps nurture national talent, generate and share knowledge, and forge thriving partnerships both at home and abroad. Its work underpins the sustainable future of the nation's higher-education landscape, ensuring that universities remain key contributors to society and the economy.
Through a suite of specialist services, the IUA supports the academic community at every stage. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Office offers expert advice on funding applications and award management, while EURAXESS Ireland provides a one-stop desk for researcher mobility and fast-track immigration. The University Societal Engagement team assists institutions in embedding and scaling impact-focused teaching, learning and research, and the DARE & HEAR programmes deliver supplementary admission routes that widen access for socio-economically disadvantaged students and those with disabilities. Together, these initiatives reflect the IUA's strategic pillars of talent and skills, research and innovation, access and participation, quality, and connection.
