80:20 Educating and Acting for a Better World is an independent non-governmental organisation dedicated to popular education on human development and human rights. Through a blend of education and action projects, research and partnership work, the charity seeks to foster a critical conscience in learners of all ages. Its mission is underpinned by a new five-year strategic plan that places critical thinking and civic engagement at the heart of its programmes.

The organisation offers a range of services, including collaborative partnership opportunities, educational activism initiatives and consultancy work for groups seeking to embed human-rights perspectives into their practice. It also runs training sessions, adult-educator conferences and media-literacy resources, and provides avenues for involvement such as trustee roles and project-officer positions.
