Galway City Partnership is a community-development organisation that has been serving Galway City since 1996. Its core mission is to tackle disadvantage and social exclusion, with a particular focus on helping long-term unemployed people re-enter the labour market. Working alongside local partners, GCP delivers a wide range of initiatives that span social inclusion, employment, education, health and wellbeing, and support for migrants and people with disabilities.

Key services include the Galway Migrant Service, which offers confidential, one-to-one advice and advocacy; the Gold Star Disability Initiative, promoting accessible environments; and a suite of community-education programmes such as free yoga, cookery and art classes. GCP also provides labour-market training-CV writing, interview preparation, mock online interviews-and a variety of short courses, from HACCP and Safe Pass to English-language classes. Through campaigns like "Choose Galway Social Enterprise" and resources such as the "Wellbeing with Wally" videos, the partnership helps families, children and adults build confidence, resilience and a stronger sense of community.
