People For Trees (Ireland) Company Limited By Guarantee is a national charity dedicated to restoring Ireland's woodland heritage and fostering a lifelong love of trees. Through a blend of education, hands-on planting and public outreach, the organisation works with schools, community groups, businesses and individuals to increase the country's forest cover and protect its natural ecosystems.

The charity runs interactive educational events that teach children about the cultural, environmental and health benefits of trees, while organising large-scale planting days that add new woodlands across the island. Its twice-yearly magazine, guided walks, talks and presentations keep members and the wider public informed and inspired. In addition, People For Trees delivers community-focused projects that deliver lasting environmental improvements and nurture future leaders who will champion sustainable land-use.

Supported by President Michael D. Higgins as patron, People For Trees operates throughout Ireland, championing the sustainable use of native timber, the preservation of hedgerows and the creation of thriving, carbon-sequestering forests for generations to come.
