WEST CORK TRAVELLER CENTRE ASSOCIATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

West Cork Traveller Centre Association Company Limited By Guarantee is a traveller-led community organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families across the West Cork area. The Centre works to improve everyday life for travellers while actively challenging racism and discrimination, offering a safe, inclusive space for all members of the traveller community.

The Centre's core service is personalised support through its Traveller Support Workers. Kate Moynihan, joining in May, will cover Macroom and Bandon on Tuesdays to Thursdays, while long-standing worker Kathy Crockett provides assistance in Clonakilty, Skibbereen and Bantry. In addition, the Centre collaborates with Primary Health Care to facilitate work-experience placements, and it runs a range of programmes and activities aimed at personal development, health and community cohesion. Updates and resources are shared via the West Cork Traveller Centre blog, keeping the community informed and engaged.

Rooted in the West Cork region, the Centre's mission is to empower travellers to create better lives for themselves, fostering resilience, opportunity and a stronger, more inclusive community.
