TIPPERARY RAPE CRISIS AND COUNSELLING CENTRE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Tipperary Rape Crisis and Counselling Centre (TRCC) is a charitable organisation founded in 1986 that provides free, confidential support to anyone who has experienced sexual violence, including survivors of rape, child sexual abuse and other forms of sexual trauma. Based in Clonmel, County Tipperary, the centre serves women, men and children across the county and works in partnership with the national 24-hour helpline to ensure help is always within reach.

TRCC's core services include a confidential helpline during opening hours, free one-to-one counselling for survivors and their families, and outreach provision in towns throughout the region. The centre also delivers specialist training and education programmes for professionals, volunteers and post-primary schools, raising awareness of sexual violence and promoting safe, supportive environments. In addition, TRCC welcomes volunteers, offering comprehensive training so they can contribute to the vital work of healing and prevention.

Through its holistic approach-combining direct support, community outreach, education and volunteer involvement-TRCC aims to prevent further harm, foster recovery and empower survivors to rebuild their lives with hope and dignity.
