CABHRÚ HOUSING ASSOCIATION

Cabhrú Housing Association is a Dublin-based voluntary charity that has been delivering independent, safe and comfortable housing for older people for more than fifty years. With a portfolio that currently accommodates 183 residents, Cabhrú creates self-contained homes where seniors can enjoy a high quality of life while remaining close to the community they love.

The association's key services include the provision of state-of-the-art apartments-such as the award-winning Fr Scully House, which offers 99 modern, self-contained units-and the coordination of essential support from public agencies, including community social workers and community nurses. Cabhrú also fosters a vibrant community spirit by inviting local activities into its developments, ensuring that residents benefit from both social interaction and the wider neighbourhood's resources.

Guided by a volunteer board and a dedicated small staff, Cabhrú operates with full transparency under the 2013 Voluntary Regulation Code, continually expanding its resources to meet Ireland's housing challenges and to uphold its mission of creating homes for those in need.
