The Farm Tractor & Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) is the recognised national body representing the farm-machinery trade on the island of Ireland. Established in 1913, the association brings together manufacturers, importers, distributors and retail dealers to champion professionalism, innovation and sustainability throughout the sector.

FTMTA's core activities include publishing the definitive Farm Machinery Industry Economic Report - a €5 billion-valued analysis that quantifies the sector's contribution of over 25 000 jobs - and delivering high-impact events such as the annual FTMTA Conference and the flagship Farm Machinery Show. These platforms showcase the latest precision-farming technologies, promote best practice, and foster collaboration among industry leaders, innovators and farmers. In addition, the association offers training facilities for members, supports apprenticeships and provides a voice on policy matters affecting Irish agriculture.
