Windmill Therapeutic Training Unit is an independent, voluntary non-profit organisation with full charity status. It delivers day-service support to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disability, helping them to live fuller, more independent lives. By placing a strong emphasis on human rights, dignity and respect, Windmill creates a safe, "no-tolerance of abuse" environment where each person is celebrated for their individuality and encouraged to build positive relationships.

The service is centred on a responsive, proactive and collaborative approach, ensuring that the wishes, needs and choices of the people it supports are at the heart of every activity. Operating in Wexford town and the surrounding areas, Windmill's dedicated team works to empower its service users, fostering confidence and community participation while upholding the highest standards of care and respect.
