COLAISTE SHEOSAIMH TEORANTA

Coláiste Sheosaimh Teoranta is an Irish-language college situated about 40 miles west of Galway City, on a tranquil inlet of Galway Bay. Since its founding in 1960, the college has offered a range of immersive Irish courses for learners aged 11 to 18, providing an active, fully-fledged language experience under the guidance of experienced teachers, Cinnirí and Bean an Tí.

The college's programme includes popular summer courses that blend interactive classroom work with cultural activities, helping students boost fluency while enjoying a vibrant community atmosphere. For former pupils who have earned the Leadership Course Award, the specialised Cúrsa Cinnireachta offers a limited number of places to continue their development. In addition, the intensive Cúrsa Ardteiste prepares students for the Leaving Certificate, with a strong focus on the oral exam and comprehensive coverage of Paipéar 1 and 2.
