Northside Community Enterprises (NCE) is a charitable organisation that has been delivering essential education and training programmes to the people of Cork since 1993. Working in partnership with a range of educational bodies and government agencies, NCE provides sector-specific courses designed to boost workforce readiness and raise local employment levels. Its core focus is on helping the long-term unemployed and jobseekers transition back into full-time work through practical, accredited training.

NCE's portfolio spans early childhood care and education (QQI Level 5 and 6), digital and IT skills, employability modules (Cork WIN LTI QQI Level 4), and free English-language and adult-literacy programmes. In addition to training, the organisation runs a variety of community enterprises-including a bakery, laundry service, Altarbreads supplies, a café, and a paint-recycling venture-offering work placements and real-world experience. Recent initiatives also include sports and fitness, insulation services and a range of childcare opportunities, reflecting NCE's commitment to meeting the social and economic needs of the Cork community.
