Dooriel Fisheries Limited is a family‑run oyster enterprise founded in 1994 by Paddy and Peggy Ginty, native to the Dooriel area. Based on the pristine waters of Dooriel Creek in Ballycroy, County Mayo, the business is now overseen by their son Shane, who continues the legacy of cultivating high‑quality Crassostrea gigas – the Pacific oyster – in the Atlantic‑fed environment of Ireland’s west coast.

Specialising in the production of Dooriel Creek Oysters, the farm harvests and supplies these distinctive shellfish to chefs, retailers and seafood lovers who value authentic, sustainably grown Irish produce. The Ginty family draws on a centuries‑old tradition of oyster and shellfish gathering along the Mayo coastline, ensuring each oyster reflects the clean, nutrient‑rich waters that have long supported the region’s marine heritage.
