YOUTH NEW ROSS

Youth New Ross (YNR) is a community-driven organisation that has been supporting children, young people and families in New Ross and the surrounding area since 1994. Founded by a group of dedicated professionals, YNR delivers a comprehensive suite of services through three distinct projects: the Family Project, the Youth Project and the Treoin Youth Diversion Project.

The Family Project works directly with children, young people and their parents to strengthen whole-family wellbeing, while the Youth Project offers a wide range of activities, programmes and opportunities designed to engage and empower individuals and groups of young people. The Treoin Garda Youth Diversion Project provides targeted support and diversion activities for youth in partnership with An Garda Síochána. All projects are staffed by caring, professional teams and are bolstered by volunteers, ensuring a responsive, community-focused approach.

Through dedicated funding from national bodies, the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, the Department of Justice, the Irish Youth Justice Service and European Social Funds, YNR continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of those it serves.
