Company Description
The Institute of Public Administration (IPA) is Ireland's leading centre for building capability within the public service. It delivers a broad portfolio of professional development, research and advisory services designed to enhance the skills, knowledge and performance of civil servants, local authorities and other public-sector organisations. Through its Moodle-based learning platform, the IPA offers short, senior-level courses on topics such as governance, public-service AI guidelines, open data and the upcoming EU Council Presidency, alongside the flagship Emerging Leaders Graduate Programme for administrative officers and third secretaries.
In addition to training, the institute provides specialist advisory and publishing management, supports quality-assurance initiatives and produces research that informs policy and practice across Ireland and the wider EU. Recent projects include a collaboration on "Ireland for EU Enlargement" and a series of open-data courses for 2026, underscoring the IPA's role as a catalyst for public-service excellence and innovation.
