IRISH PALATINE ASSOCIATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Irish Palatine Association Company Limited By Guarantee is a heritage organisation dedicated to preserving and promoting the unique story of the Irish Palatine community. Since its founding in 1989, the association has cultivated a strong sense of identity among Palatine families and their descendants across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada, while also rekindling ties with their ancestral homeland in the Palatinate region of Germany.

At the heart of its work is the Irish Palatine Museum and Heritage Centre in Rathkeale, County Limerick. The centre houses a comprehensive exhibition that traces the Palatines' journey from their German origins, through their settlement in Ireland, to their subsequent diaspora worldwide. Visitors can explore artefacts, interpretive displays and a specialist shop, and members enjoy a dedicated area with further resources.

The association's activities are supported by the Department of Rural and Community Development through the Community Centres Investment Fund 2022, underscoring its role as a vital cultural custodian for the Palatine legacy.
