TRADBURN LIMITED – Sussex Past

TRADBURN LIMITED operates Sussex Past, the public‑facing arm of the Sussex Archaeological Society, a registered charity dedicated to promoting, protecting and providing access to Sussex’s history and heritage. Since 1846 the Society manages a portfolio of historic sites—including Anne of Cleves House, Fishbourne Roman Palace & Gardens, Lewes Castle & Museum, Marlipins Museum, Michelham Priory House & Gardens, The Long Man of Wilmington and The Priest House & Gardens.

The organisation offers a wide range of experiences: family days out, school trips, group visits, research facilities, walks and talks, as well as venue hire for weddings, corporate events and filming. It also runs volunteering programmes at several properties. Revenue is generated through ticket sales, memberships, donations and gift purchases.

Sussex Past serves local families, tourists, schools, researchers, corporate clients and community volunteers who wish to explore, learn about and support Sussex’s archaeological and historical legacy.
