MAYO ROSCOMMON HOSPICE FOUNDATION

Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation is a charitable organisation dedicated to funding and delivering free palliative-care services for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across County Mayo and County Roscommon. As the first children's hospice on the western seaboard, it offers a "home away from home" where families can find respite, comfort and companionship throughout their journey.

The foundation's core services include specialist hospice units for children and adults, community nursing visits, and a range of online support resources. In addition, it operates hospice-run shops that help sustain the service and runs regular fundraising events such as the annual Memorial Walk, tree-lighting ceremony and monthly draws, inviting the community to contribute as little as €10 a month for a chance to win prizes while supporting care.
