South Kerry Development Partnership CLG is a community-led local development company that has been driving sustainable growth in South Kerry since 1991. Working in partnership with statutory agencies, social partners, local government and a wide range of community and business stakeholders, SKDP designs and delivers rural-development initiatives that create jobs, attract investment and enhance quality of life across an area of almost 2 500 km² - from Killarney and Kenmare to Killorglin and Cahersiveen.

The partnership's core services include the administration of a suite of state- and EU-funded programmes such as the Rural Social Scheme, the Tús work-placement initiative, the Social Inclusion & Community Activation Programme (SICAP) and the LEADER rural-development programme. It also runs the South Kerry Skillnet Network, providing subsidised training for small and medium enterprises, and supports a broad range of community, cultural and environmental projects.
