Baltimore Sailing Club Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-driven sailing organisation founded in 1956. Based on the pier in Baltimore, West Cork, the club has grown from a modest summer sailing group into a vibrant hub for both leisure and competitive sailing on Baltimore Harbour and the wider Roaringwater Bay. Its core mission is to teach safe, confident sailing to people of all ages and backgrounds, with a particular focus on youth development.

The club runs a full programme of Irish Sailing Association-accredited courses, from introductory "Try Sailing" sessions to advanced racing curricula, all delivered by fully qualified ISA instructors. In addition to training, Baltimore Sailing Club offers a well-equipped function room, kitchen and bar for social events, a marketplace for sailing gear, and regular employment opportunities. Seasonal highlights include the Irish Laser Association's Munster Championships and the annual Dinner Dance, which bring together sailors, families and the wider community for competition and celebration.
