Waterford LEADER Partnership (WLP) CLG is a community-led Local Development Company and charitable organisation that has been supporting rural development in Waterford County since 1991. As one of 49 LEADER partnerships operating across Ireland, WLP's core mission is to empower communities, small businesses, voluntary groups and individuals by delivering a blend of economic, social and cultural services.

The partnership works through a voluntary board representing community organisations, social partners, environmental interests, local government and state bodies. In practice this translates into a range of programmes and initiatives - from training, mentoring and technical advice to funding and development support - that help create sustainable services and facilities tailored to local needs. Notable schemes include Social Farming, the Deise Day Centre, and a suite of job-seeker and employer services that link talent with opportunity across the region.
