Bishopstown Community Association (BCA) is a registered charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee that has been serving the Bishopstown area since 1970. Its core mission is to enhance the quality of life for local residents by fostering a vibrant, inclusive community through a wide range of volunteer‑run groups and activities.

The association coordinates a diverse portfolio of services, from the Bishopstown Meals on Wheels programme that delivers meals to those in need, to the Senior Social Centre and Men’s Shed which provide social and recreational opportunities for older adults and hobbyists alike. Families benefit from the Bishopstown Community Playschool, while sport enthusiasts can join the Pitch and Putt Club, Lawn Tennis Club and the Tidy Towns initiative. The Youth Project offers a safe, supportive space for young people, and the broader Community Association acts as the hub that brings these groups together.
