Maizetech Limited is a family-run enterprise that has been trading near Bunclody, County Wexford since 1992. Under the leadership of John Foley, the company has become one of Ireland's leading suppliers of maize seed, herbicides and specialised film systems, working closely with seed growers and farmers to match the right hybrid to each set of growing conditions.

The core offering centres on three product lines: Maizetech Seeds, Maizetech Net Covers and Maizetech Film. The net covers are crafted from UV-stable polyethylene, available in twenty different sizes and designed to be weighted at the edges and joins for secure installation. In partnership with Pioneer and Samco, Maizetech has pioneered a photo-degradable film that enables maize to be sown two to three weeks earlier than conventional open-field crops, creating a protective micro-climate that boosts early-stage growth and can improve overall yields.

By combining high-performance seed varieties with innovative covering and film technologies, Maizetech helps Irish growers achieve higher productivity while adapting to the diverse climatic challenges across the country.
