IRISH CANCER SOCIETY RESEARCH LIMITED

Irish Cancer Society Research Limited is a national charity dedicated to helping anyone affected by cancer across Ireland. Based in Dublin, the organisation combines research, advocacy and a comprehensive suite of free services to improve the lives of patients, survivors, families and caregivers.

The Society's flagship offering is a freephone Support Line, staffed by confidential nurses who are available Monday-to-Friday, 9 am-5 pm, to answer questions ranging from a new diagnosis to end-of-life care. In addition, it operates a network of Daffodil Centres, provides a transport service that has delivered over 26 000 free rides, offers specialised support for children and young adults, supplies free support packs, and delivers night-nursing and counselling sessions at no cost. Through its Irish Cancer Society Children's Fund, families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis can receive financial assistance.

Beyond direct support, the charity mobilises a vibrant community of volunteers, donors and health-care professionals to fund research, raise awareness and drive policy change - all with the aim of reducing cancer incidence, improving survival rates and ensuring world-class care for every person who needs it.
