Offaly Hospice Foundation Company Limited By Guarantee is a charitable organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality palliative care to patients and families across County Offaly. Working in partnership with the HSE, the hospice provides a range of essential services, including night-time nursing, complementary therapies, specialist children's resources, a bereavement pathway, and ongoing training and education for staff and volunteers.

Fundraising is at the heart of the hospice's work. Each year the "Offaly Hospice Calendar", curated by Michael Carroll and photographed by the Tullamore Camera Club, showcases 110 local images and highlights upcoming events, while the Offaly Hospice Shop and community-run coffee mornings generate vital income. Recent projects have seen the refurbishment of the Palliative Care Suite in Ofalia House, Edenderry, and a major upgrade of the garden at the Birr Community Nursing Unit, both aimed at enhancing quality of life for those in care.

Supported by volunteers, donors and patrons such as Claire Byrne, Offaly Hospice continues to champion compassionate care while campaigning for the much-needed Midlands Regional Hospice, ensuring that the people of the Midlands receive a first-class hospice service now and into the future.
