Poetry Ireland Company Limited By Guarantee is Ireland's national charity dedicated to nurturing and celebrating poetry across the island. It commissions, publishes and promotes poetry through a vibrant programme of events, awards, residencies and publications, reaching schools, communities and literary audiences alike.

The organisation's flagship journal, *Poetry Ireland Review*, showcases new work from established and emerging poets and is released each quarter, while the *Introductions / Céadlínte* e-book series highlights emerging voices. Poetry Ireland also administers prestigious opportunities such as the Ireland Professor of Poetry, the Gerald Dawe Poetry Bursary, and poet-in-residence appointments, fostering creative relationships with writers, visual artists and cultural partners. Its annual Poetry Day Ireland celebration and a range of competitions, calls for submissions and open-mic events provide accessible entry points for poets of all ages.
