BALLYMUN INITIATIVE FOR THIRD LEVEL EDUCATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Ballymun Initiative for Third Level Education (BITE) is a community-driven organisation dedicated to helping young people from Ballymun progress onto third-level study. By offering a holistic support network, BITE equips students with the tools, confidence and information they need to navigate the transition from secondary school to college or university.

The initiative provides a range of practical services, including tuition, homework assistance and targeted grants, as well as personalised guidance through application and course selection processes. Regular college-awareness events introduce learners to a variety of higher-education options, while dedicated sessions for parents ensure families are well-informed about available supports. Alumni who have successfully moved on to further study also contribute by sharing their journeys, inspiring current students to aim higher.

Rooted in the Ballymun community, BITE works closely with local schools, families and former students to create a supportive pathway to higher education, fostering ambition and achievement across the area.
