Fishamble Theatre Company is an award-winning Irish charity that discovers, develops and produces new plays of national importance, reaching audiences both at home and abroad. Each year the company brings to the stage fresh work by supporting more than half of all playwrights who write new plays on the island, ensuring a vibrant, contemporary voice for Irish theatre.

Beyond its mainstage productions - such as the recent shows *King* and *Silent* - Fishamble runs a robust education programme, supplying resources for second- and third-level students and teachers, and offers specialised playwriting courses, including a May Bank Holiday intensive and a nine-week Spring/Summer course. These initiatives nurture emerging talent and provide practical training for aspiring writers.

As a charitable organisation, Fishamble relies on the generosity of friends, corporate members and sponsors to sustain its mission of creating and championing new Irish drama.
