Moorepark Technology Limited (MTL) is a joint-venture specialist operating within the Teagasc Food Research Centre Moorepark. Since opening in September 1993, the company has provided the Irish food industry with a 5,000 sq m ultra-modern pilot-plant facility that meets ISO 9002, EN 22000:2018 and FSSC 22000 standards. MTL's core offering is the rental of this versatile plant, enabling food manufacturers and research institutions to carry out commercial-scale simulation, product and process development, training and small-scale start-up production in a confidential, modular environment.
