The Oranmore Community Development Association (OCDA) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing every facet of life in Oranmore. Working from a central hub in the town, OCDA provides a wide range of community-focused services, from secretarial and printing support for parish events - including mass, wedding and baptism booklets - to the management of vibrant sports and cultural facilities.

Its state-of-the-art sports centre welcomes over a thousand users each week, offering flood-lit 3G Astro-turf cages for five-aside football, a large 80 m × 40 m pitch for larger groups, and flexible booking options for training, birthday parties and weekend events. In addition, OCDA runs Irish-language activity camps in partnership with the Galway Bay Sailing Club, delivering kayaking, raft-building and other water-based challenges alongside traditional céilí and prize-giving celebrations. The association also serves as an arts, cultural and social hub, keeping residents informed of the latest news, events and development projects throughout the community.
