The Irish Family History Foundation Company Limited by Guarantee is the co-ordinating body for a network of 32 local genealogy centres across the island of Ireland. For more than three decades it has brought together volunteers, clergy and government agencies to preserve and share Ireland's rich ancestral records, offering members a single, searchable portal to over 23 million historic documents.

Subscribers gain instant access to high-quality church records of baptisms, marriages and deaths, as well as census returns, gravestone inscriptions, Griffith's Valuation, ship passenger lists and census-substitute data. A unique Irish surname-variant tool lets users search all spellings of a name in one go, while detailed filters by first name, surname, county and parish make research swift and precise. At a modest €15 annual fee, members not only unlock these resources but also support the continued work of the local genealogy centres.
