The Good Shepherd Centre Kilkenny (GSCK) is a charitable organisation dedicated to offering high-quality, individualised and accessible support for adults experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. Services are provided to women, men and families over 18 years of age who are referred by the local authority, with particular attention to vulnerable groups such as people struggling with addiction, mental health challenges, disabilities, the elderly and those leaving prison.

GSCK's core programmes include emergency accommodation - a 38-bed hostel that provides short-term refuge and stabilisation - alongside housing supports and a proactive homeless-prevention service. Through comprehensive case-management, health-needs assessment and partnership with affordable-housing providers, the centre helps individuals retain or gain permanent homes, sustain tenancies and move toward greater social inclusion. Innovative initiatives aim to reduce reliance on emergency care and build lasting alliances across the community.
