Company Description
St. Francis Hospice Dublin is a specialist palliative‑care organisation serving the people of North Dublin and the surrounding counties. All of its services are provided free of charge to patients and their families, ensuring that compassionate, high‑quality care is never limited by cost.
The hospice delivers a comprehensive range‑of‑care model: in‑patient units for those needing round‑the‑clock support, an outpatient and day‑service centre for regular appointments, and community‑based nursing visits that bring expert care into patients’ homes or residential facilities. Bereavement support is also offered to families after a loved one’s passing, and healthcare professionals can refer patients directly to the hospice’s multidisciplinary team. In 2024 the hospice cared for 2 313 patients, completed 12 708 community nursing visits and recorded 7 789 outpatient and day‑service attendances.
Supported by a dedicated volunteer force of nearly 300 people and sustained through donations, legacy gifts and fundraising events, St. Francis Hospice continues to innovate and expand its services, always placing the comfort and dignity of patients and their families at the heart of its mission.
