THE MEDIEVAL TRUST

The Medieval Trust operates Dublinia, a not-for-profit museum that brings the Viking and medieval eras of Dublin to life. Situated in the historic heart of the city near Christchurch, the museum invites visitors to walk the streets once trod by Norse settlers, explore authentic medieval architecture and climb an original medieval tower, all while discovering the stories of Dublin's early citizens.

Dublinia offers a range of interactive experiences for families, school groups and tourists, including immersive exhibitions, guided tours and a lively programme of events. Recent highlights feature "Mystic Dublin", a medieval-themed performance, a spring lecture series on magic and belief in early Ireland, and a public lecture unveiling new research on the Viking settlement at Woodstown. Open daily from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm (last entry 5.00 pm), the Trust provides an engaging, educational environment that connects past and present for anyone keen to explore Ireland's rich heritage.
